WHAT IS IT?

A Sound Mixer is the person who captures audio on set for use in the edit.

This mostly involves:

• • Capture of on set dialogue/location audio
  • Capture of Voice Over
  • Capture of interview dialogue

WHO IS GOOD FOR THIS ROLE?

• • Someone with an experienced ear for location audio capture
  • Experience with Zoom F4 or equivalent audio recorder
  • Experience with wireless lavalier and boom pole operation
  • Likes variety – sometimes capturing interviews, sometimes dialogue, sometimes VO. Every day is different.
